Saxophonist Lin Yiming is a versatile musician with a mastery of both jazz and classical traditions. After earning dual master's degrees in the U.S. and studying at Berklee, he returned to Taiwan in 2021. Known for his technical precision, Lin published "36 Jazz Etudes" and co-founded the duo DUOWISE. A regular at major jazz festivals, he frequently collaborates with artists like Leo Wang, blending academic excellence with vibrant contemporary performance.
Saxophonist Lin Yiming is a highly accomplished musician with a profound command of both jazz and classical traditions. After graduating from Shih Chien University, he pursued advanced studies in the United States, earning a scholarship to Berklee College of Music for jazz performance. He further obtained master's degrees from the University of the Arts (Jazz, 2019) and Rowan University (Classical Saxophone, 2021). Returning to Taiwan in 2021, Lin published his first sheet music, "36 Jazz Etudes," in 2022. He co-founded the duo DUOWISE with pianist Hsu Tsung-yi, dedicated to performing original works. Lin has been a prominent presence at major jazz festivals across Taiwan and collaborated with artists like Golden Melody Award winner Leo Wang, including appearances on "The Rappers 2." He currently holds teaching positions at multiple universities.
