Lionel Pinard, also known as 李歐, is a Taiwanese-based pianist and composer celebrated for his innovative approach to jazz. As the driving force behind NoMads Factory, he has cultivated a unique sound described as a "joyful elastic space of jazz & world music." His debut album with NoMads Factory, "Elefant On A Pink Leaflet," showcases his original compositions alongside inventive arrangements of folk dances, featuring his work on piano and accordion. Recorded in Taipei, the album exemplifies his distinctive fusion style, blending contemporary jazz with global influences. Pinard has performed at notable venues like Blue Note Taipei, establishing himself as a significant voice in Taiwan's vibrant jazz scene.
