Liao Chun-Ho is a rising jazz drummer who transitioned from a classical background in piano and percussion to the Jazz Music Program at Fu Jen Catholic University. Under the mentorship of Andrew Salim, Liao has refined a sophisticated drumming technique rooted in his award-winning competitive experience. A regular performer at Blue Note Taipei, he is also a frequent presence at venues like Sappho and Marsalis, bringing dynamic energy to the Taipei jazz scene.
Liao Chun-Ho began his musical journey with the piano and violin from a young age. During high school, he attended the music program at Sacred Heart High School, majoring in percussion. After entering the Music Department at Soochow University, he transferred to the Jazz Music Program at Fu Jen Catholic University in his sophomore year. Currently majoring in jazz drums, he studies under the guidance of Andrew Salim. Throughout his middle and high school years, he frequently represented his school in national student music competitions, achieving excellent results in both individual and ensemble categories. Since university, he has dedicated himself to the study of jazz and the refinement of his drumming technique. He performs monthly as a regular at Blue Note Taipei and is frequently seen on stage at venues such as Sappho and Marsalis.
