An alumnus of Berklee College of Music, he honed his craft under the tutelage of esteemed drummers such as Jon Hazilla, John Ramsay, and Jamey Haddad. Lin's professional standing is underscored by his role as the Taiwan endorser for Canopus drums and Regal Tip drumsticks. His versatility extends beyond traditional jazz, evident in his contribution to the "Au Revoir Taipei" film soundtrack and his innovative use of modular synthesizers in projects like Non-Confined Space's "Flow, Gesture, and Spaces." A respected figure in Taiwan's vibrant jazz community, he has performed at prominent venues including Blue Note Taipei and collaborated with leading artists such as Minyen Hsieh and YuYing Hsu.
