Chun-yi Wen began his jazz drumming journey at the age of six. After refining his traditional techniques under Chinese master Xu Zhitong in 2022, he moved to Germany to study at the University of Music Würzburg under Professor Bastian Jütte. A rising talent in the international jazz scene and a member of the Cyryl Quartet, Wen’s performances at venues like Fountain de Chopin showcase his technical precision and deep musicality.
Chun-yi Wen began his journey with jazz drums at the age of six. In 2022, he furthered his mastery of traditional jazz drumming under the tutelage of the renowned Chinese jazz drummer Xu Zhitong. He is currently pursuing his studies at the University of Music Würzburg in Germany, where he studies under Professor Bastian Jütte, the Head of the Jazz Department. As an emerging talent in the jazz scene, he has performed at venues such as Fountain de Chopin as part of the Cyryl Quartet.
