Jon Zhang is a Chinese American pianist, educator, and jazz musician based in Northern California. His work as a composer often explores political struggles and the memorialization of history, citing influences ranging from jazz legends to classical composers like William Grant Still. In addition to his extensive international touring history, he has performed at Fountain de Chopin (翻騰三周半). Beyond his musical career, Zhang is also recognized as a martial artist, actor, and stunt performer.
