Brandy Wu is one of Taiwan's most prominent and active jazz drummers. A graduate of the Musicians Institute (PIT) in Hollywood, where she received the "Most Improved Student" award, she transitioned from a heavy metal background to become a cornerstone of the jazz scene. With extensive recording credits and experience touring with saxophonist High G, she remains a regular fixture at international festivals and prestigious venues like Blue Note Taipei.

Brandy Wu is a prominent figure in the Taiwanese jazz scene and one of the most active jazz drummers in the country. After graduating from the Commercial Design Department at Ming Chuan University, she pursued her passion for percussion at the Musicians Institute (PIT) in Hollywood, where she was honored with the "Most Improved Student" award. Her musical journey began at age 16; though she was initially drawn to heavy metal, she later dedicated herself to jazz and professional percussion. Wu has contributed to a wide range of recordings, including a Thai idol band album, the "PUB Heroes" compilation by What's Music, and Fu Juan's Children's Jazz Music. She served as the designated drummer for saxophonist High G’s (Kao Pei-hua) "Art to the Countryside" series and is a frequent performer at international music festivals. Her credits include appearances on multiple albums and regular performances at prestigious venues such as Blue Note Taipei.
