Bassist Stone Shih is a captivating presence in the contemporary jazz scene, known for his profound passion for jazz and all music imbued with its spirit. His playing is distinguished by a keen appreciation for rich harmonies and vibrant rhythms, showcasing both technical prowess and deep musicality. An active figure in Taiwan's jazz community, Shih frequently performs at prominent venues such as Blue Note Taipei, Sappho Live Jazz, Riverside Live House, and Art Reading Cafe. He has notably performed as part of the Balanced Jazz Quartet, a group of talented young musicians led by saxophonist Chou Timing, contributing his distinctive voice to their dynamic performances.
