Samuel Chan is a distinguished jazz drummer and the first jazz major graduate from the Education University of Hong Kong under Ted Lo's mentorship. After further honing his craft at New York’s Collective School of Music with masters like Kendrick Scott, he has built an impressive career performing with international icons such as Theo Hill. A versatile artist, Chan has also appeared as a soloist with the Houston Symphony and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

Samuel Chan is a distinguished jazz drummer who earned his Bachelor's Degree from the Hong Kong Institute of Education (now the Education University of Hong Kong), where he studied under the mentorship of legendary jazz pianist Ted Lo. As the first student to major in jazz within the program, he graduated with an outstanding performing arts certificate. Samuel later received a scholarship to further his studies at the Collective School of Music in New York, graduating under the tutelage of drum masters including Peter Retzlaff, Ian Froman, Chris Coleman, and Kendrick Scott. His professional career includes performances and recordings with internationally renowned musicians such as Theo Hill, Sean Conly, Sebastian Noelle, and Ole Mathisen. Samuel's versatile performing experience also spans prestigious concert halls across multiple continents, including appearances as a soloist with the Houston Symphony and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
