Jenni Tsai is an accomplished flutist and New England Conservatory alumna whose versatile artistry spans classical, jazz, and hip-hop. From Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai to the National Theater in Taipei, she has graced prestigious stages and international festivals worldwide. A frequent collaborator with Grammy and Golden Melody Award winners, Tsai seamlessly blends technical mastery with improvisational flair. Currently a faculty member at Soochow University and leader of Not A Lady, she remains a vibrant force in the contemporary jazz scene.

Jenni Tsai is an accomplished flutist who earned her Master of Music in Flute Performance from the New England Conservatory in the United States. Her musical journey spans from Taiwan to the U.S. and China, covering genres from classical and jazz to pop and hip-hop. Her performances have taken her to prestigious venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai, the National Theater and Concert Hall in Taipei, the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, and Victoria Hall in Singapore, as well as intimate jazz clubs and theater pits. She has been a featured performer at numerous international festivals, such as the Shanghai JZ Jazz Festival, Hangzhou Flower Festival, Arts Alive Festival in South Africa, Taipei Jazz Festival, Taichung Jazz Festival, NTCH Summer Jazz Party, Vagabond Festival, and the Dragon Tiger Gate Hip Hop Festival. Tsai has collaborated with a distinguished list of Grammy and Golden Melody Award-winning or nominated musicians, including Jerry Gonzales, Walter Blanding, Laura Fygi, Jeremy Monteiro, Tina Ma, Arno Hass, SoftLipa, and Tseng Tseng-yi. Her notable performances include the 2017 flute recital "Classics Without Limits" and the 2021 "Absolute Love for Flute" concert with jazz flutist Rit Xu at the National Recital Hall as part of the Taiwan International Flute Festival. Currently, she serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Soochow University Department of Music, leader of the band Not A Lady, and a member of the piano trio Trio con Brio and the Girlfriend Quartet. She has also been active with the Latin jazz group Soy La Ley, presenting lectures and concerts across Taiwan.
