方鏡興 Mirror Fang

Mirror Fang is a professional jazz guitarist and bandleader based in Taiwan, frequently performing at the historic Blue Note Taipei. Known for his mellow tones and sophisticated interpretations, he leads the Mirror Jazz Guitar Quartet, which holds a regular residency every first Thursday of the month featuring Li Wei-Hsin on saxophone, Hou Chin Lin on bass, and Jeffrey Lin on drums. Fang also leads the Mirror Fang Trio, collaborating with prominent musicians such as trumpet master Cheng Wen Feng to perform timeless jazz standards. In addition to his work as a leader, he is an active sideman, performing with the Yichun Teng Quartet alongside trombonist Yichun Teng, bassist Hou Chin Lin, and drummer Liao Yu Hsuan, presenting a mix of original compositions and popular jazz classics. His musical approach focuses on creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere through a carefully curated selection of jazz repertoire.
