Taku Saito is a versatile jazz guitarist and graduate of the University of North Texas. Having collaborated with members of Snarky Puppy and Bobby Sparks, he gained international acclaim with his band Forjak and Grammy-winning producer Chris Bell. Now based in Japan, Saito leads the ensemble Multty, performing frequently at the prestigious Marunouchi Cotton Club. His fluid technique and genre-defying artistry make him a sought-after session musician and a dynamic force in the contemporary jazz scene.
Taku Saito is a graduate of the University of North Texas Department of Jazz Guitar. Throughout his career, he has performed and recorded alongside esteemed musicians, including members of Snarky Puppy and Bobby Sparks. During his time in the United States, he led his own band, "Forjak," releasing an album in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer Chris Bell and completing a successful tour across Japan and Korea. Upon returning to Japan, Saito formed the band "Multty" and released their debut album, "Tales of Time." Since 2021, he has performed at the prestigious Marunouchi Cotton Club in Tokyo three times as the band's leader. Currently, he is active as a versatile guitarist across numerous musical fields, providing support and recording for a wide range of artists and participating in various band activities across genres.
