Saxophonist Lin Yiming is a versatile musician with a mastery of both jazz and classical traditions. After earning dual master's degrees in the U.S. and studying at Berklee, he returned to Taiwan in 2021. Known for his technical precision, Lin published "36 Jazz Etudes" and co-founded the duo DUOWISE. A regular at major jazz festivals, he frequently collaborates with artists like Leo Wang, blending academic excellence with vibrant contemporary performance.

Lin Yiming is a highly accomplished saxophonist with a profound command of both jazz and classical traditions. After graduating from Shih Chien University in Taipei and serving in the Ministry of National Defense Demonstration Band, he pursued advanced studies in the United States. He earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music for jazz performance and subsequently obtained master's degrees from the University of the Arts (Jazz, 2019) and Rowan University (Classical Saxophone, 2021). In 2021, he released his debut jazz sacred music album, "Whispering to God," which was digitally released in December and physically in July of the following year. The title track was nominated for the 2022 Golden Indie Music Awards for Best Jazz Song, and he was recognized as a top-eight finalist in the People's Choice category at the Syracuse Area Music Awards (The SAMMY’s). Returning to Taiwan in 2021, Lin published his first collection of sheet music, "36 Jazz Etudes," in 2022. He co-founded the duo "DUOWISE" with pianist Hsu Tsung-yi, dedicated to performing original works. Lin has been a prominent presence at major jazz festivals in Taipei, Taichung, and Tainan from 2022 through 2025. His collaborations span diverse genres, including work with Golden Melody Award winner Leo Wang and appearances on the television program "The Rappers 2." He has shared the stage with international jazz luminaries such as Bria Skonberg, Ingrid Jensen, Scott Wendholt, Gary Smulyan, Dave Liebman, Boris Kozlov, Will Lyle, vibraphonist Lu Qianqian, and drummer Allison Miller. Lin currently holds teaching positions at National Taichung University of Education, Shih Chien University, and Taichung Qingshui High School.
