Oscar Ho

Oscar Ho is a dynamic and versatile double bassist active in both the jazz and classical music scenes. His musical journey began with foundational experiences in orchestral and big band settings, which provided a strong base for his current development. He is presently immersed in jazz studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. As a member of the Tim Li Trio, collaborating alongside pianist Tim Li and drummer Jerry Kan, Oscar is recognized as an emerging presence in the contemporary jazz landscape. His performance credits include appearances at the Soho Live Music Club in London and the "Live at Jim Hall" series at Fountain de Chopin, a series focused on high-quality listening experiences for musicians and audiences alike. Through his dedication to the double bass and his contributions to emerging ensembles, Oscar Ho is rapidly carving out a name for himself as a vibrant contributor to the international live music scene.
