Brandon Lin & TruthSeeker is a jazz ensemble active in the Taiwan jazz scene. Brandon Lin, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger, moved to Canada at the age of ten, where he began his journey into jazz during his teenage years. Deeply influenced by contemporary jazz figures such as Brad Mehldau, Brian Blade, and Kurt Rosenwinkel, Lin's compositions reflect a diverse range of inspirations, from his early training in classical music to the visual aesthetics of Impressionist and Romantic period paintings. After studying in the United States and returning to Taiwan in recent years, he has accumulated a body of work that bridges modern jazz with visual art, fantasy, and personal experience. As an emerging force in the regional circuit, Brandon Lin & TruthSeeker has established a consistent presence in Taipei, performing at notable venues including Sappho Live Jazz and Blue Note Taipei, offering audiences a pure and modern live jazz experience.
