Emile is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and composer whose artistry spans classical, jazz, and crossover genres. Formerly a concertmaster and award-winning arranger, he currently serves as the pianist for the A Tempo Quintet. His playing blends the romantic sentimentality of Chopin with the cool, latent warmth of Esbjörn Svensson. A frequent performer at major Taiwanese jazz festivals, Emile is celebrated for his elegant, refined style and unique cross-cultural arrangements.

Emile is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and music professional with deep expertise in piano, violin, guitar, arranging, and composition. His performance style is rich and varied, characterized by unique arrangements that seamlessly blend elements from different eras and cultures. In the classical realm, Emile served as the concertmaster of the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) Symphony Orchestra and was the piano accompanist for the NTNU Chorus during their national tour. He has also performed solo renditions of Paganini's Caprices at the National Theater and Concert Hall. Beyond classical music, he excels in jazz, rock, folk, and crossover genres. His accolades include winning second place in the String Sound Cup (Creative Category) as an acoustic guitarist and arranger, and securing second place in the July 2022 Ryan Leach Composition Competition for his original work. Emile's professional experience includes choral arranging and piano accompaniment for the Fo Guang Shan Nan Ping Temple choir competition. He was also commissioned by the Kaohsiung Wind Orchestra to rearrange pop songs for full wind band instrumentation for renowned singers such as Chang Hsin-mei and Tu Hsin-tien. Additionally, he has collaborated on sound design for solo exhibitions by artists like Yang Yu-jie and Lin Xing-rong. Currently, Emile serves as the pianist for the A Tempo Quintet. His piano style is elegant and refined, blending the romantic sentimentality of Chopin with the cool yet latent warmth of Esbjörn Svensson. He has performed at prominent venues including Rhythmscape in Taipei, Jazzhead in Taichung, WiJazz in Kaohsiung, and the Tainan Jazz Festival. He remains passionately active in collaborating with various musicians across different projects.
