Taipei-based violinist Ann VioLin transitioned from a classical background to the world of jazz after discovering Duke Ellington in high school. A former president of the NTU Jazz Club and student of Huang Wei-chun, she has become a versatile performer. Her collaborations include Ouatret and Dark Eyes Gypsy Jazz Band. From the Taipei Jazz Festival to the National Concert Hall, Ann brings a sophisticated and passionate voice to the contemporary jazz scene.

Ann VioLin is a Taipei-based violinist with a foundation in classical music. Her transition into jazz was sparked during her senior year of high school after viewing a Duke Ellington Big Band performance, leading to a lifelong dedication to the genre. She furthered her jazz education under the guidance of violinist Huang Wei-chun and demonstrated her leadership within the community as the president of the National Taiwan University (NTU) Jazz Club. Her performance career is characterized by its breadth and diversity, having collaborated with ensembles such as Ouatret, the NTU Riot Jazz Orchestra, Dark Eyes Gypsy Jazz Band, and Hot Club de Takao. Ann has graced the stages of prominent venues and events, including the Taipei Jazz Festival, the NTU Music Festival, and the National Concert Hall.
