Tseng Tseng-Yi is a distinguished Taiwanese jazz pianist and organist recognized for his sophisticated musical language and technical mastery. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel) in 2009 with a Master's degree in Jazz Piano Performance, he has established himself as one of the most talented figures in Taiwan's contemporary jazz scene. In 2014, Tseng achieved major critical acclaim by winning both "Best Instrumental Album" and "Best Composer" at the Golden Melody Awards. His creative output includes the formation of the Symbiosis Trio in 2012, with whom he released a debut album in 2013 and subsequent works like the 2018 release through Blaire Ko Music Studio, which explores a colorful vision of jazz through complex soundscapes. Beyond his leadership roles, Tseng is a highly sought-after collaborator who has toured with major pop icons including Yoga Lin, Samuel Tai, Tanya Chua, and Judy Ongg, seamlessly integrating jazz elements into mainstream music.
