Liao Chun-Ho is a rising jazz drummer who transitioned from a classical background in piano and percussion to the Jazz Music Program at Fu Jen Catholic University. Under the mentorship of Andrew Salim, Liao has refined a sophisticated drumming technique rooted in his award-winning competitive experience. A regular performer at Blue Note Taipei, he is also a frequent presence at venues like Sappho and Marsalis, bringing dynamic energy to the Taipei jazz scene.
Liao Chun-Ho is a jazz drummer whose musical journey began in childhood with the piano and violin. He attended the music program at Sacred Heart High School, specializing in percussion, before enrolling in the Music Department at Soochow University. In his sophomore year, he transferred to the Jazz Music Program at Fu Jen Catholic University, where he currently majors in jazz drums under the tutelage of Andrew Salim. Throughout his education, Liao frequently represented his schools in national student music competitions, earning numerous awards in both individual and ensemble categories. Since entering university, he has focused his studies on jazz and the refinement of his drumming technique. Liao is a regular performer at Blue Note Taipei, where he plays monthly, and is also frequently featured at prominent jazz venues such as Sappho and Marsalis.
