Based in Taoyuan, Liu Da-ren holds a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from National Dong Hwa University. A versatile bassist on both double and electric bass, he studied under Yohei Yamada and Wei Kuang-hao. Liu is a prominent figure in the local scene, performing with the Jhouse Band and hosting jazz events at Yuppy Cafe. His impressive portfolio includes collaborations with trumpet legend Eric Miyashiro and Taiwan’s 'King of Drums' Rich Huang, showcasing his technical mastery and rhythmic sensitivity.
Hailing from Taoyuan, Liu Da-ren graduated with a Master’s degree from the Department of Music at National Dong Hwa University, specializing in Jazz Performance on Double Bass and Electric Bass. He studied under the tutelage of Yohei Yamada and Wei Kuang-hao. His professional performance activities include serving as the bassist for the Jhouse Band and as the host musician for the Jazz Afternoon Tea series at Yuppy Cafe. His performance credits include collaborations with the National Dong Hwa University Jazz Big Band alongside trumpeter Eric Miyashiro, as well as performances with the NDHU Jazz Big Band and Taiwan's 'King of Drums' Rich Huang. He has also performed at the Kaohsiung Sea Breeze Music Festival and participated in both Big Band and Combo performances at the National Theater & Concert Hall (NTCH) Jazz Camp.
