The Alan Chang Quintet is a jazz ensemble led by the acclaimed American pianist and songwriter Alan Peijei Chang. Born in San Jose, California, and a graduate of the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music, Chang is most widely recognized for his extensive career as the long-term pianist and songwriter for Michael Bublé. His solo debut album, "Check Please," showcases a sophisticated "jazz-juiced" pop sound, featuring a lineup of legendary musicians including bassist Pino Palladino and saxophonist Dave Koz.
