Yi-Hsiu Sung is a jazz pianist and composer who began his international studies in 2016 at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Belgium. Specializing in jazz piano, he studied under the tutelage of Diederik Wissels and Nathalie Lorier. With the encouragement of his mentors, he expanded his expertise into jazz composition in 2021, studying with Michelino Bisceglia. His artistic focus lies in the collaborative intersection of jazz and classical music, having participated in numerous projects involving string quartets and jazz ensembles. In May 2022, he served as an arranger and collaborator for the Toots Thielemans 100th Anniversary Concert. In the local scene, he has performed at venues such as J House and WiJazz Records.
