Seo Takashi × YenTing Lo × Ying-Da Chen is a collaborative jazz ensemble featuring Japanese double bassist Takashi Seo and Taiwanese jazz artists YenTing Lo and Ying-Da Chen. This cross-cultural trio brings together a wealth of international experience and diverse musical backgrounds. YenTing Lo is a versatile jazz singer-songwriter, pianist, flutist, producer, and cross-media creator originally from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. A graduate of the Conservatory of Amsterdam, she is recognized as a musical storyteller; she released her debut singer-songwriter album, "Epiphyllum" (葉片之上), on October 25, 2019, which featured the Cheng string quartet. Takashi Seo is an established double bassist who manages his own music shop and project platform, bringing a seasoned perspective to the group. Alongside guitarist Ying-Da Chen, the trio has performed at notable venues such as Sappho Live Jazz. Their work blends Lo's sophisticated compositions and delicate arrangements with the deep improvisational expertise of all three members, creating a multi-layered and culturally rich jazz sound.
