謝騏隆 Chi-lung Hsieh

Chi-lung Hsieh is a dynamic jazz drummer whose musical journey began with a foundation in percussion and piano from an early age. During his university years, he gained extensive stage experience as a member of the renowned Ju Percussion Group. Hsieh later pursued advanced studies in Jazz Drum Performance at the Berklee College of Music, where he trained under master drummers including Bob Gullotti, Ian Forman, Neal Smith, and Mark Walker, while also studying Latin percussion with Eguie Castrillo. His professional development includes collaborations and educational exchanges with notable international musicians such as trumpeters Lin Biviano and Jason Palmer, and bassists Ron Mahdi and Lello Molinari. A mainstay of the Taiwanese jazz scene, Chi-lung Hsieh is a frequent performer at premier venues like Blue Note Taipei. He performs regularly with groups such as the Daniel Chen Trio and the Chen Tzu-Chang Quartet, bringing a versatile, expressive, and high-energy drumming style to every performance.
