Chane Lu is a versatile double bassist from Hsinchu, Taiwan, who seamlessly bridges classical and jazz music. Formally trained at National Sun Yat-sen University and National Dong Hwa University, she studied under masters like Fu Yong-he and Yohei Yamada. Her career spans orchestral performances with the Aurora Light Orchestra to musical theater. With a solid classical foundation, Lu brings a refined and expressive voice to the contemporary jazz scene.

Chane Lu (陸荃) is a double bassist from Hsinchu, Taiwan. Classically trained from a young age, she completed her foundational music education through the music programs of Hsinchu Dongmen Elementary School, Chien Hua Junior High School, and Hsinchu Senior High School. She later graduated from the Department of Music at National Sun Yat-sen University and the Graduate Institute of Jazz Music at National Dong Hwa University. Her classical double bass studies were guided by teachers Cheng Hsiao-yen, Fu Yong-he, Wu Zheng, and Ruan Jin-zhi, while she studied jazz double bass under Yohei Yamada. Her extensive performance experience includes multiple seasons with the Aurora Light Orchestra (極地之光管弦樂團) in programs such as "German and Austrian Classics—In the Name of Wang Chun-mu" (2020), "Shining" (2018), and "European Tour" (2017). She has also performed with Phonon Music in "Taroko Music Translation—Symphonic Seasons" (2020), the Hsinchu Philharmonic Orchestra's "LIVE Weekend Movie Night" (2018), and as the double bassist for National Sun Yat-sen University's original musical "Daughter of the Sea" (2017).
