Lin Chien Quartet
Led by acclaimed vibraphonist Chien Chien Lu, the Lin Chien Quartet is a dynamic force in the international jazz scene. A former member of the Jeremy Pelt Quintet, Lu has performed at prestigious venues like the Monterey and DC Jazz Festivals. Beyond her quartet and "CONNECTED" project with Richie Goods, her upcoming highlights include a 2025 performance at Taiwan's National Concert Hall and a 2026 collaboration with Germany’s renowned WDR Big Band.
The Lin Chien Quartet (led by vibraphonist Chien Chien Lu) is a prominent jazz ensemble with a significant international presence. Chien Chien Lu, a Taiwanese musician, currently focuses her creative energy on the Chien Chien Lu Quartet and the project "CONNECTED," which she co-leads with Richie Goods. Her performance career has taken her to major stages including the Monterey Jazz Festival, Stanford Jazz Festival, DC Jazz Festival, and the Taiwan International Percussion Festival. In 2018, she joined the Jeremy Pelt Quintet and recorded on the critically acclaimed album "Jeremy Pelt The Artist," subsequently touring extensively throughout Europe to rave reviews. In addition to her performance schedule, she is deeply involved in music education and international cultural exchange. Her upcoming projects include a 2025 appearance at the National Concert Hall's jazz festival in Taiwan and a 2026 collaboration with the WDR Big Band in Germany. The quartet has also performed at Sappho Live Jazz.
