Jenny Ng
Jenny Ng is a distinguished pianist and co-founder of the Contrast Trio, celebrated for her sensitive musicality. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with double Master’s degrees, she has performed with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and collaborated with renowned vocalists. Currently an ABRSM examiner, she recently gained acclaim for her evocative interpretations of Ryuichi Sakamoto’s works, showcasing a versatile artistry that bridges classical precision with contemporary emotional depth.
Jenny Ng, co-founder of the Contrast Trio, is a distinguished collaborative artist praised for her musicality and sensitivity. Since 2005, she has performed with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, PanAsia Symphony Orchestra, and Macau Youth Symphonic Band, and has been featured in interviews with the South China Morning Post and RTHK 4. Currently an ABRSM examiner in Hong Kong, Jenny holds double Master’s degrees in Piano Accompaniment and Music Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has worked with renowned singers like Sarah Walker and Laura Sati, and participated in masterclasses with celebrated accompanists such as Malcolm Martineau and Martin Katz. Her recent work includes the 'Ryuichi Sakamoto Piano Night' presented by Kung Chi Shing, where she performed a repertoire of the late professor's most celebrated works, including Aqua, The Sheltering Sky, Last Emperor, and Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence.
