↗ Sappho Live Jazz♪ Josh SchafferSince graduating in December of 2012 with a Master’s in Music from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Josh Schaffer has been working and playing in Taiwan. While studying under Tom Myer (prof. saxophone at the University of Colorado Boulder), he has developed his jazz concepts out of a classical setting and has learned not only the musical nuances involved in classical performance and practice, but also has been able to bring classical and traditional jazz styles together. Since graduating he has performed with a wide array of rock and fusion groups including the Colorado· saxophoneJoin us this Friday for an evening of diverse jazz genres with The Josh Schaffer Group, featuring some of Taipei's finest musicians. The main performance starts at 9:00 PM ($500 + 2 drinks). From 11:30 PM, the Wei-Hsin Li Trio hosts the Late Night Jam ($200 + 1 drink). Musicians joining the jam session enjoy free entry after 11:00 PM with a minimum one-drink purchase.

Wie Chieh (Henry)出生於台北,胡惟捷是一位Session鍵盤手/作曲家,自幼學習鋼琴、小提琴、中提琴、吉他,並展現對音樂的濃厚興趣,於美國Juilliard school及New England Conservatory唸書期間先後與Ira Taxin, David Conte, John Manila和Michael Gandolfi等教授學習作曲。返台後,除了古典創作之外,也積極以鍵盤手的身份參與爵士與流行演出,並多次受邀於台北及台中爵士音樂節演出,演出足跡遍佈台灣、巴黎、美國,曾任賀瓏夜夜秀、前衛搖滾團光學虎鯨鍵盤手,現為TPO踢霹歐樂團、Cinnamon Mango、台灣重擊拉丁鍵盤手。活躍於台北各大展演空間,合作過的藝人包括黃大煒、許景淳、王大文、Whyte壞特?te、徐哲緯、Bradd李靖黌、宇宙人方Q、雷擎、粉內Fi
Born in Taipei and trained at Juilliard and the New England Conservatory, Wie Chieh (Henry) Hu is a versatile session keyboardist and composer. His musicality spans classical, jazz, and pop, with performances reaching from Taiwan to Paris. Currently a member of TPO and Cinnamon Mango, Henry has collaborated with artists like Whyte (?te) and David Huang. A fixture at major jazz festivals, he brings a sophisticated, multi-instrumental perspective to every stage.

Originally from Venezuela and based in New York, Bam Rodríguez is a multi-dimensional musician spanning jazz, Latin, and classical genres. A member of Arturo O’Farrill’s Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, he contributed to the 2022 Grammy-winning album "Fandango at the Wall in New York." Having performed with legends like Chucho Valdés and Wynton Marsalis at venues like Carnegie Hall, Rodríguez also leads innovative projects like "South by North East" and founded the global music education initiative "We Are Starting a School."
