李歐 Lionel Pinard

Piano

French pianist, accordionist, and composer Lionel Pinard is a graduate of the Conservatory Regional Influence de Rueil-Malmaison. As the leader of the NoMads Ensemble, he bridges the musical landscapes of Taipei and Paris. His artistry seamlessly blends traditional folk elements with jazz improvisation, notably seen in his collaborations with erhu player Luo Chang-qin. Pinard’s work remains rooted in a pure creative spirit, offering a vibrant fusion of world music and contemporary jazz.

謝明諺 Minyen Hsieh

Saxophone

Minyen Hsieh is a central figure in Taiwan’s jazz and improvisational scene. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, he has earned international acclaim across Asia. His milestone albums, 'Firry Path' and the award-winning 'As Pure as Water', showcase his mastery of the saxophone. A recipient of both Golden Melody and Golden Indie Music Awards, Hsieh’s versatile artistry spans from avant-garde projects like 'Non-Confined Space' to high-profile international performances.

王群婷 Refa Wang

Bass

Refa Wang is a versatile bassist and composer blending classical precision with jazz improvisation. A Guildhall School of Music graduate, she has collaborated with artists like 9m88 and MJ116, and contributed to APUJAN’s London Fashion Week shows. Having performed at major international festivals like SXSW and Edinburgh Jazz, Refa has evolved from a premier sideman into a compelling bandleader, debuting her quartet to showcase contemporary original works.

林偉中 Weichung Lin

Drums

Weichung Lin is a leading drummer in Taiwan's jazz scene and a Berklee College of Music alumnus. An endorser for Canopus Drums and Regal Tip, Lin is known for his versatility, spanning traditional jazz to avant-garde experimentation. His diverse portfolio includes the "Au Revoir Taipei" film score and collaborations with Non-Confined Space. A fixture at Blue Note Taipei, he frequently performs with top artists like Minyen Hsieh and YuYing Hsu, shaping the contemporary sound of Taiwanese jazz.
