Dan LaVelle is a seasoned guitarist who has helped shape Hong Kong’s international music scene since 1987. Having toured with The Manhattan Transfer and collaborated with Eric Marienthal, his style blends R&B, Brazilian rhythms, and jazz improvisation. Currently performing in a trio with vocalist Elodie Lee and bassist Jimmy Pittman, LaVelle focuses on jazz standards and Bossa Nova, delivering an intimate experience defined by spontaneous interplay and warm musical chemistry.
Elodie Lee
Taiwanese jazz vocalist Elodie Lee is celebrated for her warm, expressive voice and natural stage presence. A multilingual talent, she performs effortlessly in Mandarin, English, French, and Spanish, bringing a unique sensitivity to jazz standards and Bossa Nova. Jimmy Pittman
Originally from Chicago, bassist Jimmy Pittman has been a cornerstone of the Hong Kong music scene since 2012. Versatile across jazz, funk, and reggae, he is renowned for his steady rhythmic foundation and solid low-end. A frequent collaborator in the local jazz circuit, Pittman excels in intimate settings. His attentive listening and spontaneous interplay bring a warm, relaxed, and sophisticated atmosphere to classic jazz standards and Bossa Nova.
