Polish saxophonist and composer Cyryl Lewczuk is a rising star in the contemporary jazz scene. After winning the Grand Prix at the prestigious "Jazz Inspiracje" competition, he released his debut album, "Cactus Flower," in 2025. Leading an international quartet featuring guitarist Yang Zheng, bassist Jon Zhang, and drummer Wen Junyi, Lewczuk blends deep-rooted Polish jazz traditions with sophisticated modern sensibilities for a vibrant, world-class performance.
Yang Zheng

Jazz guitarist Yang Zheng is currently refining his craft at the Würzburg State University of Music in Germany. After establishing himself in Beijing's vibrant jazz scene, he moved to Europe to study under masters such as Michael Arlt and Axel Hagen. Having received guidance from world-renowned guitarists Romain Pilon and Lage Lund, Zheng blends rigorous academic training with extensive performance experience, emerging as a compelling voice in contemporary jazz.

Jon Zhang is a distinguished Europe-based jazz bassist who earned his Master's degree from the prestigious Codarts Rotterdam in the Netherlands. A prominent figure in the Dutch jazz scene, Zhang is known for his sophisticated technique and frequent performances at iconic venues such as Murphy’s Law and Dizzy. His artistry reflects a deep commitment to the jazz tradition while maintaining a vibrant presence in contemporary European music circles.

Chun-yi Wen began his jazz drumming journey at the age of six. After refining his traditional techniques under Chinese master Xu Zhitong in 2022, he moved to Germany to study at the University of Music Würzburg under Professor Bastian Jütte. A rising talent in the international jazz scene and a member of the Cyryl Quartet, Wen’s performances at venues like Fountain de Chopin showcase his technical precision and deep musicality.
