烏野薰 Kaoru Uno

Piano

Kaoru Uno is a distinguished Japanese jazz pianist and a cornerstone of Taiwan's jazz scene since 1997. A Berklee College of Music alumna, she serves as the resident pianist for Blue Note Taipei and the Taipei Jazz Orchestra. Beyond her elegant performances and recordings like 'The Jazz Piano Trio Creations,' she mentors the next generation as the director of the TJO Youth Band, blending classical precision with soulful jazz improvisation.

李承育 Lee ChengYu

Saxophone

Cheng-Yu Lee is a distinguished Taiwanese saxophonist, conductor, and jazz educator. After transitioning from civil engineering to music, he earned his Master’s from the University of North Texas. As the music director of the Taipei Jazz Orchestra, Lee has collaborated with global icons like Eric Marienthal. Currently a faculty member at several top universities, he is a pivotal figure in Asian jazz, specializing in performance, theory, and big band conducting.

吳純瑩 Brandy Wu

Drums

Brandy Wu is one of Taiwan's most prominent and active jazz drummers. A graduate of the Musicians Institute (PIT) in Hollywood, where she received the "Most Improved Student" award, she transitioned from a heavy metal background to become a cornerstone of the jazz scene. With extensive recording credits and experience touring with saxophonist High G, she remains a regular fixture at international festivals and prestigious venues like Blue Note Taipei.

吳莉雯 Michelle Wu

Bass

Michelle Wu is a prominent jazz artist active in Taipei’s vibrant music scene. Known for her compelling live performances, she has graced the stage of the historic Blue Note Taipei, one of the city’s most venerable jazz institutions. As a dedicated contributor to Taiwan’s local jazz community, Wu continues to enrich the cultural landscape with her professional artistry and soulful musical presence.
